M.G.S. Inc. is known for our quality and experience in roll-forming gutters from our custom proprietary seamless flange back and K style gutter machines. We also specialize in roll-formed fabrication and installation of standing seam roof panels. Warranty
All our work carries a 1 year warranty from defects in workmanship. All work is to be done in using good workmanship, complying with the customs of the trade and using proven construction practices. Exclusion of damage form other trades: ice and snow damage, storm damage, act of God, faulty construction causing structural movement, poor maintenance, abuse, vandalism or changes in the building use.
Oil canning is not a cause for rejection.

Why should I choose Matteo Gutter Systems?
Every contractor can install products. What separates Matteo Gutter Systems is how we evaluate your property before making recommendations. We look at the entire building envelope—including the roof, gutters, drainage, flashing, ventilation, architectural details, and how water moves around your home or building. Our goal is to recommend solutions that make sense for your property, your budget, and your long-term plans—not simply sell the most expensive project.
Do you try to upsell customers?
No. We believe every recommendation should have a purpose.
If your gutters can be repaired instead of replaced, we’ll tell you. If your roof has years of life remaining, we’ll tell you. If a less expensive solution will properly solve the problem, that’s the solution we’ll recommend.
Our reputation has been built on providing honest advice—not selling work that isn’t needed.
How do you decide what to recommend?
We approach every project as though it were our own property.
Before making recommendations, we consider the condition of the existing system, the expected service life, repair history, long-term maintenance costs, safety concerns, and your goals for the property. Sometimes that means recommending repairs. Sometimes it means replacement. Our job is to explain your options so you can make an informed decision.
Will you tell me if another contractor's recommendation isn't necessary?
Yes. If we believe a proposed repair or replacement isn’t necessary, we’ll explain why. Likewise, if we agree that replacement is the better long-term investment, we’ll explain that as well. We believe homeowners deserve honest, professional advice backed by experience—not fear or sales pressure.
Do you only install gutters?
No. While gutters are part of our name, our expertise extends well beyond gutter systems. We specialize in roofing, architectural sheet metal, custom fabrication, drainage systems, snow retention, heat cable systems, skylights, and other exterior building components. Because all of these systems work together, we evaluate the entire exterior—not just one product.
Do you work on older and historic homes?
Yes. We have extensive experience working on historic homes, churches, institutional buildings, and architecturally significant properties throughout Northeast Ohio. Many older buildings require specialized materials, custom fabrication, and repair techniques that differ significantly from modern construction.
Will you explain what you find during the inspection?
Absolutely.
We believe an informed customer makes better decisions. During our inspection, we’ll explain what we found, what is functioning properly, what needs attention now, and what can reasonably wait. We want you to understand your building—not simply receive an estimate.
Do you always recommend replacement over repairs?
No.
Whenever practical, we look for repair options that provide good long-term value. If a repair can safely and effectively extend the life of your existing system, we’ll discuss that option with you. If repairs are likely to become more expensive than replacement over time, we’ll explain that as well so you can make the decision that’s best for your property.
Why do your estimates sometimes include options instead of just one price?
Every property owner has different goals. Some customers want the most economical repair. Others want the longest-lasting solution. By providing options when appropriate, we allow you to compare different approaches while understanding the advantages and limitations of each.

Will you ever tell me not to spend money?
Yes—and we do it regularly.
If we believe your existing roof, gutters, or drainage system still has useful life remaining, we’ll tell you. If a repair is the most practical solution, we’ll recommend it. We would rather earn your trust today than sell you something you don’t need. Many of our long-term customers first hired us because another contractor recommended an expensive replacement that wasn’t necessary.
What makes Matteo Gutter Systems different from other contractors?
We don’t measure success by how much work we sell—we measure it by whether we recommend the right solution. Every inspection begins with understanding the building and identifying the actual cause of the problem. Only then do we recommend repairs or improvements that provide real value. Will Matteo Gutter Systems cut corners or install something a customer requests if it isn't considered a best practice?
No. At Matteo Gutter Systems, we are committed to following industry best practices, manufacturer specifications, and installation methods that we believe provide the best long-term performance. While we understand that every customer has a budget, there are times when we’re asked to omit important components, substitute inferior materials, or take shortcuts to reduce costs. If we believe those changes would compromise the integrity, safety, performance, or longevity of the project, we simply won’t do it.
Our reputation has been built over decades by performing work the right way, not the easiest or least expensive way. Every project we complete becomes a reflection of our company, and we take that responsibility seriously. We’d rather respectfully decline a project than knowingly perform work that doesn’t meet our standards or leave a customer with a system we wouldn’t install on our own home.
When appropriate, we’ll always look for legitimate ways to reduce costs by adjusting the scope of work or recommending alternative solutions—but we will never sacrifice quality or workmanship simply to win a job.
We don’t believe “good enough” is good enough. Every project that leaves our shop carries the Matteo Gutter Systems name, and we refuse to compromise the standards that reputation was built upon.
